Fotsbeats got his start at a very young age with an early infatuation with his father’s old Victrola and turntables in general. By 16, he finally had his own pair, purchased from a local thrift store along with a re-purposed home stereo amplifier. This crude setup allowed for hours of practice learning how to blend records and imitate the scratching techniques he’d heard from the likes of Q-bert and D-Styles.
More than a decade later, Fots has perfected a unique, genre-bending style of dancefloor motivation that takes his listeners on a journey from that song that was their jam back in the day all the way to some of the newest and freshest sounds coming from the hip hop and dance music scenes. Through years of hard work, he has played at some of the biggest and best clubs in the New York City and Long Island area and provided a soundtrack for concerts and club appearances for artists such as Ja Rule, French Montana, Troy Ave, Fetty Wap, T-Pain, Nelly, Deborah Cox, Ashanti, and many more.
