Kelli-Leigh Biography

Kelli-Leigh
Biography 2020

Few emerging artists know the music industry better than Kelli-Leigh. Her astonishing career includes over 500 million streams on Spotify, 2 UK numbers 1s and 3 UK Top 10 hits. Her unmistakable vocals feature on the club anthems, ‘More Than Friends’ (James Hype), ‘I Wanna Feel’ (Second City) and the Billboard dance chart and GRAMMY nominated number 1 ‘I Got U’ (Duke Dumont & Jax Jones).

But it’s her work as a solo artist that Kelli-Leigh is being recognised and celebrated for now, garnering a loyal fanbase and huge support from Kiss FM, Radio 1, Virgin Radio DXB, Sirius XM & Gaydio. Since setting up her own, fully self-funded, label ‘Music Core’ in 2018, the trailblazing hitmaker has released four independent singles. ‘Do You Want To Be Loved Like This’, ‘Can’t Dance’, ‘Nothing More’ and Without You’ are emotive and anthemic pop classics, featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and have amassed over 2 million combined streams.

In April 2019, Kelli-Leigh sold out a headline show at Islington O2 Academy with her live band, a career-defining moment for the star. “It’s hard work and it’s stressful, but when you have people playing your music, reacting to your music, coming to your shows and singing your songs, it makes it so worthwhile. This is why I do it.”

Signed to Ultra Music Publishing, she has collaborated with Tiesto, Kream, Low Steppa, Hardwell, and Watermät, to name a few. “I set up my own label to give myself the opportunities that I wanted, the platform that I needed. I’m involved in every aspect of putting out my songs from the writing, to mixing and mastering of the record, to the art work to the marketing.”
As a solo artist, and one with a huge LGBTQ+ following, she’s performed at Brighton, Manchester and Birmingham Pride, the Boardmasters Festival, Dubai’s huge RedFest festival, and supported Fifth Harmony.
