‘Gonna getcha getcha’…A devastatingly potent mix of french house, soul, pop, hip-hop and R&B, scheduled for release in July, this track will stab you in the ears as it makes its way into your head. Starting life as Alan Braxe’s instrumental ‘Addicted’, Killa Kela [world renowned multivocalist, who has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg/ Neptunes/ Justin Timberlake ] and Fallon add vocals to sublimely fit this genre-warping track.
Check out the new video for 'Nightwatcher [Show Me]' by Alan Braxe featuring Killa Kela & Fallon. The video was directed by the mega talented Seb Janiak-who has done some wicked stuff for Janet Jackson, Daft Punk, TLC, Dizzee Rascal and Method Man, amongst others. Also, Swedish DJ extrodinaire Tony Senghore has done a very naughty lil mix of 'Nightwatcher'. If you thought 'Nightwatcher' was an oddball-wait till you hear this mix. Digital release 28th July, physical release 4th August. Mmm, everyone likes a good ol’ physical release.
Alain Quême, also known as Alan Braxe, is a French electronic music artist. He scored a major hit in 1998 with "Music Sounds Better With You," a track co-written by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk and Benjamin Diamond under the name Stardust. In 2005, an album, The Upper Cuts collected Alan's singles to date, most of which were done with co-producer and bass player Fred Falke on Bangalter's Roulé label.
Alan Braxe mostly made highly acclaimed remixes after the release of The Upper Cuts. Most recently for Annie: Heartbeat (Alan Braxe remix), Röyksopp: Only This Moment (Alan Braxe and Fred Falke remix) and John Lord Fonda: So Far Away (Alan Braxe Remix).
Alan Braxe is also the cousin of DJ Falcon (Stephane Quême).
