About this concert
Fresh from their Golden Plains debut, release of new single 'Isn't Music Wonderful,' and announcement of their sophomore album, Thus Spoke the Broken Chanteuse, antic glam-rock group Wet Kiss, have announced a headline show at The Curtin. Wet Kiss is the project of sensational jezebel, Brenna O: Part Factory Girl, part Fassbinder heroine. Since their 2022 debut, Wet Kiss have been on an upwards trajectory, supporting big bands like Amyl & the Sniffers and Bar Italia, and commanding festival stages. Mixing greasy punk with cabaret excess, their performances leave audiences gobsmacked: there are floppy bunny ears, buckets of sweat, costume changes, clothes ripped to smithereens, ecstatic howls, and hilarious antagonism. Witness the band in their grubby, live glory on May 9.
