In 1983 brak de iconische Nederlandse band VOF De Kunst door met de hit ‘Suzanne’. Wereldwijd werden er vijf miljoen exemplaren van ‘Suzanne’ verkocht, en nummers als ‘Eén kopje koffie’ en ‘Oude liefde roest niet’ zijn niet meer weg te denken uit de Nederlandse popgeschiedenis. Naast hun succes in de hitlijsten heeft VOF De Kunst ook generaties kinderen laten kennismaken met muziek. Hun eigentijdse versies van de liedjes van Annie M.G. Schmidt, succesvolle familievoorstellingen en optredens in Sesamstraat hebben de band een speciale plek in de harten van jong en oud gegeven. Maar nu is het tijd om de clubs en festivals weer op z’n kop te zetten! De heren van VOF De Kunst brengen opnieuw onvervalste Nederpop als een feest der herkenning, met zowel hun oude hits als nieuw repertoire.

VOF de Kunst is a Dutch Popgroup. The group was founded in 1983 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
The lead singer is Nol Havens.
In the beginning of the eighties they made some dutch pop songs and later in the nineties they began with singing songs for children.
Their first single "Suzanne" was a number 1 hit in The Netherlands.
Their single "Een kopje Koffie" was also a great hit.
In nineties they made an album as a tribute to the dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt.
On this album are some songs who are originally made by Annie M.G. Schmidt.
"Dikkertje Dap" is one of the famous songs released on that album.
