Solly

Solly is a 22 year-old independent self-taught singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kent, England. His musical style blends Soul, Jazz and R&B, is characterised by his soulful, expressive vocals, paired with soft keys and the use of guitar; resulting in a sound that pays homage to a combination of long-time inspirations (Stevie Wonder, Lauren Hill, Amy Winehouse) and progressive contemporaries (Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Tom Misch). Recently graduated from Leeds Art University with an Honours degree in Music Performance, he is currently based in Leeds, UK. He writes and performs his own music, is both a solo artist and performer, whilst also a member of five-piece funk band, ’Still Royal’.
