Oh He Dead Biography

DC-based band Oh He Dead is touring on their third album, Ugly. The five-piece group includes lead guitarist Alex Salser, John Daise/Colin Sidley on bass, Adam Ashforth on drums, and Piano (yes that's her real name) Whitman on keys. The close-knit crew is known for putting on a hell of a live show. Johnson “maneuvers her powerful voice — a combination of Stevie Nicks and Tracy Chapman” (Kojo Nnamdi) the band weaves from soul to rock to pop to funk to folk with a “sublime instrumentation” (NPR) and an “infectious and soulful sound” (Washington Post).
