Peu à peu, le groupe a étoffé son style et sa palette sonore grâce à l’apport d’instruments nouveaux tels que guimbarde, bérimbau brésilien, flûtes, guitare, claviers… Après 4 albums studio et un Live, une pause de quelques années, KAOPHONIC TRIBU fête ses 20 ans et sort un nouveau LP : Phoen X et travaille sur de nouvelles compositions en 2024 pour sortir un EP en 2025. Kaophonic Tribu Biography

Kaophonic Tribu is a french collective featuring 8 musicians, created in 1999, mixing traditionnal ethnic percussions and techno sounds, didjeridoo and fx-pedals, electric bass and voices from the depth of the collective soul, dyonisian flutes and obsessional rythm patterns on djembés and dununs... These are the elements for a tribal initiatic trip into Trance Didj'n'bass'n'drums.

Kaophonic have already recorded 3 albums, and are about to release their new work Eliso Deli on Active Entertainment in February 2006.
