The Whispers and Force MD's are still two legendary groups in music today. The Force MD's will be celebrating 40 years in music bringing hits such as, "Tender Love", "Tears" and "Hear I Go Again" just to name a few. Of course, the Whispers will be closing this Mother's Day evening with hits such as "It's a Love Thing", "And the Beats Goes On" and "Lady", just to name a few of many hits. These two dynamic artists will be performing Live together May 12, 2025 at Caesars Circus Maximus Theater, Atlantic City, NJ. at 6:00pm. The Legendary Force MDs: Our Story
Emerging in the early 1980s, Force MDs (formerly known as The Force MCs) brought an innovative blend of R&B, hip-hop, and doo-wop harmonies, making them pioneers of what would set the stage for the "New Jack Swing"/ “Hip-Hop Soul” era. Discovered by the legendary Mr. Magic and signed to Tommy Boy Records, the group burst onto the scene with a sound that was both fresh and deeply rooted in classic soul, quickly cementing their sound as an originator of seduction.
Their biggest breakthrough came with the 1985 smash hit "Tender Love", produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. The song became an instant classic, reaching #2 on the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 weeks, Jam & Lewis garnered a grammy for producer of the year, solidifying its place as one of the most romantic ballads of all time. To follow up in 1987 they broke through with their first #1 R&B HIT "Love is a House", as well as other classics like "Tears," and "Here I Go Again" which further cemented their legacy. Presently the Force MDs are putting out new Southern Soul music. With songs like, “3 Good Lovers”, “I’m Gonna Tell Her”, and “Right Now”, are guaranteed to seduce your soul once again.
The Force MDs Legacy is undeniable and formed from strong family roots. With many accomplishments throughout their long career here are just a few milestones to mention. The song “Tender Love” was featured on the movie soundtrack from the film “Krush Groove”, as well as their song "Itchin' for a Scratch" was also performed by the group in the 1985 feature film Rappin’, and also was part of the movie's soundtrack. In 1989 they were a part of the feature film Limit Up as well. Their song "Tender Love" has also been sampled in the 1996 by the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony hit "Days of Our Livez", and a number of current musicians have covered the song, including Alicia Keys, The Backstreet Boys, Jordan Knight, Kenny Thomas, Usher, Uncle Sam, Meshell Ndegeocello, Kelly Rowland, Marques Houston and Marsha Ambrosius. Also, “Tender Love” has been played over 37 million times on spotify and over 21 million times on YouTube music! In an interview in 2009 U.S. President Barack Obama highlighted the band among other artists included in his Air Force One iPod playlist when he travels. Also on April 8, 2010, the newly reformed Force MD's made their first national television appearance in over a decade on BET's The Mo'Nique Show. The Force MDs continue to give back to the community with charity events to show their appreciation to their fans. Keeping family roots close to heart, brothers Stevie D Lundy and Rodney “Khalil” Lundy have welcomed their electrifying nephew, Zieme to join the stage with them ensuring future generations will continue to be seduced by them.

Antoine “T.C.D.” Lundy- (Born: Feb. 3rd, 1963. Passed Away: Jan. 18th, 1998), from Lou Gehrig’s disease in 1998.
Trisco Pearson- (Born: Oct. 23rd, 1962. Passed Away: Sept. 16th, 2016), from cancer in 2016.
