About this concert
Joan & The Giants sadly farewell WA - for now but definitely not forever. Western Australian darlings Joan & The Giants will be playing their farewell to Western Australia show at the beloved Bird on May 3rd 2025. The Bird is where we found our feet, our sound and our community. We feel so connected to this venue, and couldn't think of a better place to say farewell. It feels very strange saying goodbye to our dearest and nearest, our beautiful WA audience and the home we've built here. We have toured WA so relentlessly for the last 7 - 8 years, and with 2024 being such a huge year musically, but deeply heartbreaking year personally - it is time to find some new ground, tour some new places and have a little change for a while. We are heading to Melbourne to live for now, but who knows - we might be back real soon! We just wanted to put on a farewell show with our best friends who have supported us so much for years - King Ibis, Veruca Moon and Ribs. This is really going to be a special night of collaborations, tears and farewell. Grab a ticket and come and laugh, dance and cry with us!
