About this concert

Such personable and engaging artists still with a great energy. A good mixture of old and new in the set as well as some surprises courtesey of the way the story unfolded. Who would have known that the Korgis were so well connected. Thanks to James for the photo. I will treasure it alongside the superb music they have provided over the years

The Korgis Biography
The Korgis are a British pop band known for their hit singles, 'If I Had You' in 1979, and "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime' in 1980. The band's original members were James Warren and Andy Davis, both former members of 1970's group Stackridge. Stackridge were the first band to ever play on a Glastonbury stage! The Korgis reformed in 2019 and over the pandemic period took the time to produce a brand new album 'Kartoon World' their first in 30 years. Give it a listen on Spotify!
This was followed in 2022 by Kool Hits, Kuriosities and Kollaborations attempted to tie up the many loose ends since the reformed band began, including the amazing collaboration with Aussie Rocker Joe Matera 'Always a Sunny Day'. It also included the hits the way the band currently performs them and a very special stripped down version of Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime.
In 2023 we launch a new lineup and a new show. We also are working with two record companies to bring you our NEW NEW NEW material and a few surprises! Did anyone mention Box Set?... ssshhhh....
Come along to show and make sure you say hi at the bar afterwards!
