Josh James is one of the UK’s most exciting breakout comedy names. With sharp punchlines packed full of both warmth and edge, his natural charisma has already garnered him a seriously impressive reputation on the circuit.

Josh performed on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan (C4) and is Babatunde Aléshé’s main support act on his smash hit tour, Babahood. He appeared on Audible’s Mo Gilligan’s Spotlight podcast series and beat hundreds of comedians to secure his spot on Edinburgh’s prestigious AAA Showcase.
Alongside his impressive live comedy, Josh’s online character creations and social sketches have gone viral on multiple occasions. These hit clips draw on football culture, relatable characters and the big topical news stories, all told through this hilarious Essex geezer’s view of the world.
Josh launched his own hit comedy night partnering with the iconic Pie & Mash shop F.Cooke, which features the very best stand up comedians from the circuit and encapsulates the best of his East End culture and heritage.
