She has an incredible stage presence, and killer music to boot. And also rocked a badass cowboy hat. I was way too starstruck when she signed my shirt and vinyl because she just exudes good vibes all around. If you get the chance to see her live, DO IT.

SASAMI Biography
The eponymous SASAMI has been touring in different forms since before her breakout solo debut on Domino Record co. in 2019. Whether performing with a long-haired metal band in tow or stunning huge support tours with her theatrical new pop-leaning set, SASAMI‘s ability to captivate diverse audiences has earned her coveted opening slots for acts like HAIM, Mitski, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Classically trained on french horn, SASAMI has been long developing her sound and reputation as a respected musical polymath of songwriting, performance and production. From receiving Pitchfork’s “best new track” to her feature in TapeOp magazine highlighting her production capabilities, SASAMI proves to be a force in music and one to watch as she shifts into even newer and more surprising forms
