Considering himself an actor before a singer, Meat Loaf was pictured in the 1975 cult classic film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and is featured on several songs in the film, such as “Hot Patootie” and “Time Warp”. I've been a Meat Loaf Fan since 1977 when my older Cousin turned me on to him. I'll be 58 in a couple of weeks & even living 1/2 My Life in NY, I've seen just about Everyone Except Meat Loaf and the other night, they filled a Big Void that was in my heart. I couldn't believe just how Authentic he sounded. His voice sounded just like my Old Record growing up & I still have the CD to this day which is in My Top 10. I felt like a kid again.
Granted, there were some slight variations but that's OK; they made it know that their job was Time Travel Back to 1977 & Pay Tribute to the Late Great Marvin Lee Aday (aka: Meat Loaf) and they did just that. They even played a Rare Track that Only True Fans would know: 1981 "Dead Ringer For Love" which featured Cher on Supporting Vocals. I was Blown Away !! (Now that's a Unique Voice to mimic) Regardless, Benny's Wife Ariel is also an Equally Strong Singer in Her Own Right. Every Single Performer Totally Kicked A$$.
