De Amerikaanse band Lord Huron, met oprichter en frontman Ben Schneider als drijvende creatieve kracht, is niet in een hokje te stoppen – misschien daarom wel heeft Schneider de band vernoemd naar een groot meer. Country, folk, rock, pop, surf en zelfs ambient: je hoort het allemaal terug in het filmische bandgeluid. Velen kennen Lord Huron alleen van het nummer The Night We Met (2,6 miljard Spotify-streams) uit de Netflixserie 13 Reasons Why, maar deze band heeft zoveel meer te bieden – alleen al hun meest recente single Ace Up My Sleeve (2023) is van een ongrijpbare schoonheid!

Nickel Creek was better than I expected. Solid band. Lord Huron were every bit as good as I expected, having seen them live before. Love that band. I have to admit that I didn't know more than a few of Kacey Musgraves songs but would go see her live again in a heartbeat. She's an excellent musician and performer. Far exceeded my expectations. You gotta love it when that happens. Great concert. Go see them now.
