As lead singer of Calypso Cora, he debuted a genre-blending sound that fuses Brit rock with ska reggae, delivering heart-pounding riffs and ethereal soundscapes. The Northern Rivers, NSW-based band quickly gained prominence with their self-titled debut EP, performing alongside artists like Xavier Rudd, Ben Lee, and The Cruel Sea. In 2023, Finojet embarked on an extensive tour with his band ‘Calypso Cora’, sharing the stage with some of Australia’s most respected acts. Their performances alongside artists like Ben Lee, South Summit and ‘The moving Stills’ allowed Finojet to showcase his versatility and engage with diverse fanbases. After releasing various singles, such as their most successful song ‘Lilies’, the band soon released their debut EP ‘Calypso Cora’ which drew tremendous attention and captivated their listeners.
Finojet now branches out into his singer/songwriter career,
supporting legendary bands such as The Cruel Sea and the soulful Xavier Rudd. His live shows have become a testament to his growing artistry and his ability to connect with the audience through heartfelt storytelling and infectious energy has earned him praise and recognition in the vibrant Australian music community.
