Savanna Leigh Biography
While most girls her age are scouting for their next Instagram opp, making weekend plans or binge- watching reality TV, Savanna Leigh is hard at work. And while she’ll tell you she’s just like any other 20 year-old, she’s extraordinarily driven, focused on achieving her dream of becoming a successful pop singer and a model.
Music has been etched into the fabric of Savanna’s DNA since her earliest years growing up in Brandon, Florida. Her dad, Glenn Cummings, was an independent country artist who often made the drive north to Nashville to record. He would regularly take Savanna on his tour bus or pull her up on stage, fostering an immediate love of performing. Meanwhile, Savanna’s grandmother ran a local production company, which gave her opportunities to dabble in theater. Savanna’s passion for the arts—singing, dancing and acting—continued into high school and eventually took her to Nashville with a music scholarship to Lipscomb University.
After initially recording and performing with her sister in country pop duo Lexanna, Savanna is now poised to become a breakout pop star as she begins releasing new music on her own for the very first time.
“I think pop has always been where my voice fit, and that’s the type of music that I wanted to do. I just never fully pursued it,” Savanna admits, citing modern-day influences like Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Lennon Stella, and Halsey, among other empowering female artists.
Although she’s been collaborating frequently with producer/songwriter Bobby Terry, Savanna has also been intentionally carving out time to write by herself, gravitating toward life experience and relationships as a muse.
She also admits to a lifelong love affair with fashion. With a penchant for casual crop tops, ripped jeans and cute skirts and dresses, Savanna’s personal style is effortlessly chic. And if she’s excited about her new music, she’s equally enthusiastic about her style as an artist. She recently signed a modeling contract with AMAX Talent in Nashville, and she’d love to launch her own clothing and make-up line. It’s another facet to her brand that she hopes inspires other girls.
Savanna’s story is only just beginning. The business-savvy, multi-talented singer is set to release a series of pop-centric singles in the near future.
