What a fantastic concert in a picturesque countryside setting, worthy of a Renoir painting! Pity we arrived 5 minutes late due to security checks at the festival entrance, I would have preferred a longer duration. Hannah Merrick was simply stunning in her red dress

King Hannah Biography
"I remember hearing bands like Blur, Portishead and Alanis Morissette coming from my big sister's bedroom and loving it" recalls Hannah, reflecting on growing up in the 90's.
Fuzzy, lo-fi, sound-scapey and female-fronted - those early days have clearly aided the band's musical style, drawing comparisons to the likes of Portishead and Mazzy Star.
Based in Liverpool, Craig, Dylan, Hannah and Jake secured some impressive support slots in 2018, including Sugar Candy Mountain and a Liverpool Sound City headliner, of which King Hannah were later named a festival highlight. Dark, mesmerising and dreamy with grungy americana-influenced guitar solos and outros - this is clever, trustworthy songwriting, that explores the mundane aspects of life, in a style like no other.
