About this concert
2020 marks the beginning of a new decade, but it also marks the return of URIZEN to MAGFest!
It's been almost 3 years since we last had the privilege of partying with all you crazy gamers at MAG, and we are BEYOND excited to be returning to the glorious mainstage for more electro-rock n' roll insanity! We'll have new music, new props, and a whole new level of interactive shenanigans to share with you all, so don't miss it!

Urizen Biography
URIZEN is a whole hell-of-a-lot of fun packed onto a stage full of monsters, metal, robots, mad science, and a group of dudes rocking their hearts out in the name of entertainment! For years, URIZEN has been storming stages in their native Texas and beyond with a unique blend of symphonic-tinged, video game-inspired hard rock. Armed with an intricate and massively entertaining live show, the band has embarked on US tours with rad talents like PSYCHOSTICK, THE PROTOMEN, MEGA RAN, DR. AWKWARD, and many more. URIZEN is also a friend to the convention and festival circuit, with main stage appearances at MAGFEST, NERDAPALOOZA, DRAGON*CON, and SOUTH BY SO WHAT?!? Holy moly! The band was formed by brothers Thomas and Daniel Drinnen (guitar/vocals and keyboards, respectively), who were joined by bassist Rustin Luther in 2012 and live drummer Nolan McCormick in 2015. URIZEN has released three albums: autocratopolis (2005), Universe EP (2007), and Universe:Red (2010); and one remix album, 8-Bit Universe (2011), with a brand-new full-length LP slated for release in 2015. Hooray! The balls of Rammstein strapped to the bodies of DEVO with the brains of Type O Negative performing the live show of GWAR... with a robot.
