Ryan Harris is a folk musician living in the small mountain town of Whistler, Canada. In just 3 years, Ryan’s music has reached over +90 million streams across all streaming platforms and been featured in surf & adventure films.
In 2023, Ryan opened for folk-duo Ocie Elliott across two tours and since then has sold out his own headline shows across Canada. Growing up around the world in New Zealand and Australia, artists like Ben Howard & Jack Johnson kept Ryan company during his childhood on the move and influenced his sound.

Ryan Harris Biography
Ryan Harris is a Filmmaker & Musician making music from his bedroom make-shift studio in Whistler, Canada. Ryan is also the guy writing this bio in 3rd person to make it seem like he has a “team” but really it’s just me in my DIY studio making songs haha, anyways, back to third person.
Ryan grew up living and surfing in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia until age 15 when his family finally settled back in Canada. Ryan kicked off his live act opening for Ocie Elliott at their sold-out hometown show in 2023 and 9 more Ocie Elliott shows since then. Ryan's listeners often listen to Ocie Elliott, Oliver Hazard, Hazlett, Hollow Coves, Salt Tree , Old Sea Brigade and other indie-folk acts. Ryan was asked to open for Dermot Kennedy at Rogers Arena in 2023 but unfortunately missed the email as he was out of service in Mexico, shoot! Who knows where this will all go, but damn, I just love making music so thanks for listening!
