TINGO Biography
TINGO is the new name on the Scandinavian music scene, mixing the enchanting melodies of nordic folk music with playful jazzimprovisation.
After release of their debutalbum “Kvartetten fra Verdens Ende” released in April 2023 on GO` Danish Folk Music, the band has received massive recognition in both the national and international music press. They have also received a nomination as “New jazzname of the year” at Danish Music Awards Jazz 2023, and a nomination as “New Rootsname of the year” at Danish Music Awards Roots 2023.
