German Electronic duo VIMES comprises of Azhar Syed and Julian Stetter from Cologne, supported by drummer Johannes Klingebiel for their live shows. With only four songs released so far VIMES have already received international recognition and love. Thus far they have played well known showcase and international festivals including Eurosonic in Groningen, Great Escape Festival Brighton, First We Take Berlin & Reeperbahn Festival Hamburg. They've also been invited to play SXSW and Canadian Music Week. In 2014, the band locked themselves away to focus on their highly anticipated debut album with German producer Jochen Naaf (Emeli Sandé, Xul Zolar).
