Deftones were in excellent form last night. The band sounded great and Chino's vocals were on point. Amazing show. Really fun mosh pit. My only criticism is that My Own Summer was played far too early in the evening. IMO, that should have been one of the last few songs to be played, in order to get the full effect. But that is my bias, due to it being my favorite Deftones song.

Multiple members of staff at United Center were surprisingly very accommodating and helpful to the huge crowd on hand. They were assertive without being jerks. I tried to buy a ticket ahead of time through Vivid Seats but it didn’t work out so I ended up just going through security and buying a ticket at the box office. Was able to get a drink from a hawking tray vendor to avoid long lines. It was overall just a great night. The Mars Volta killed it and along with Deftones great performance it was easily worth the price of admission. Bummed I didn’t get to catch Fleshwater due to Vivid Seats sucking. Next time I know to just head to the box office first.

The deftones were incredible. I am so happy I could see them again, this concert blew my expectations out of the water. The first warm up act was good. The second warm up act, "The Mars Volta" was one of the worst things I think I have ever listened to. It was so bad I started reading a book. I am genuinely confused as to why this was included in the line up as it didn't fit the theme. It would have been like asking for vegan options at a steak restaurant, just completely out of place. They couldn't get off of the stage fast enough, you could tell most of the crowd was underwhelmed. Anyhow... The deftones fixed all of that by putting on a miraculous show and playing a lot of great songs that I was so happy to hear in person. Just wish I could have heard Knife Party or Passenger.

The show was great and the band was amazing, but vocals were hard to follow which I feel had something to do with the sound. Sound quality was a little iffy even while standing by the very front of ground floor. Also, food and drinks at Amerant Arena were ridiculously overpriced. Forcing us to throw our water bottles away while charging $7 for a dasani was a huge turn off. I don't think I'll be returning to this venue any time soon, if not for Deftones.

Fleshwater was hard to understand due to their sound settings. So I gave up on them after the first song. I never really got into Mars Volta, so they were...meh. Deftones rocked the entire night! Everyone stood up, Chino worked the entire stage as ALL artists should do, and they were the best band of the night. It didn't matter that the concert was on a Sunday night, for Deftones, we will show up. I've seen the Deftones 7 times now and I will always be a fan. Great job guys, great sound, and video effects on the background. Deftones Rule!!!

Opening band, Fleshwater, sounded TERRIBLE. They were confined to a little spot on stage and couldn’t make out any of their music. The Mars Volta sounded great but there was zero crowd work or enthusiasm, they came, played, left. Deftones was full of energy but I feel like their show would’ve worked at a smaller venue. I’ve seen numerous shows at Toyota Center and this was the most boring I’ve been to. They had a screen behind them that played some videos and occasionally live footage. Again, very little crowd work, they performed and left. This was my second Deftones show and unless they’re in smaller venues, it will be my last.

As always, like the last 6 times I've seen The Deftones, they've never disappointed. Chino sounds and moves as well as ever. Stephens guitar playing is still fantastic. The new bass player is real good. The drummer is real good. They now have a "second" guitar player as well. But he mostly stays in the shadows. Can say too much about Freshwater or Mars Volta. Just wasn't my groove. But Deftones definitely killed it. Thanx Chino.

I believe this is (at the very least) my 4th time seeing deftones. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen them in an arena setting. The show was amazing even though we didn’t have the best seats. Chino’s stage presence is always on point. He does a great job working the whole stage. I didn’t care for either opening acts though. That’s ok because I wasn’t there for the other bands.

The bands were great, love Idles and Deftones. Absolutely hated the venue. The food was atrocious, and there were NO NAPKINS anywhere! Also, I'm a coffee addict (my fault) and the only thing with caffeine they had was Coke. I don't drink soft drinks. Disgusting. I thought it was going to be a festival- with food trucks, cool drinks, maybe a record store pop-up. I'm sure Deftones had no control over that stuff, but def would go next year if it was at a different location. Petco Park is awful.

The bands were amazing! Production, sound and lighting were stellar. Every band gave it their all and it was an amazing evening. Merch booths had an organizational problem and it took us two and a half hours to get to the front of the line because of line jumpers. Ride share, parking and public transit were difficult both going in and leaving the venue. Overall, it was super fun, just maybe put some stanchions for the merch line next time.

Loved the set and lineup, Gojira+Deftones was amazing. Crowd was pretty disappointing, older people either had great energy or none at all and just stood there with drinks. security is always tight at budweiser, but i wish theyd just let up slightly, the pit seemed calm for a numetal show i wish the original venue worked out but even still, it was a great night. Gojira and Deftones needs to come back soon!!! over all still great :) best sweet 16 ever

Everything about this event kicks ass. They go all in on the Día de los Muertos theme with beautiful artwork, cempazúchitl and calaveras everywhere, face painting, people in costumes, and even some of the food. That alone gives this a different vibe than any other show. The other thing that sets Día de los Deftones apart is the lineup, always a wide variety of musicians from metal to hip hop to electronic, this year did not disappoint, culminating in a great performance by Deftones. With as much material as they’ve produced over the years it’s impossible to include ALL the fan faves, but they hit many of them as well as a couple of surprises like Goon Squad and 976-EVIL. Overall a great show!

First time going to see Deftones...HOLY SHIT were they on fire! They played Passenger and Prince, two songs that me and my brothers didn’t think they’d ever play live but Chino unleashed his inner Maynard James Keenan and slayed it. Also, Chino’s screams we’re on point that night in almost every song. I know he kind of gets a bad rap because he can’t produce album quality vocals in a live performance, but he blew that out of the water. Now to the rest of the concert... Gojira slayed, that’s all there is to it, nothing more nothing less. Chrvches...they were really good but the crowd just wasn’t in to them because they were literally right before Deftones. So, it was unfortunate but they were still awesome. I hope they do the festival again next year!

The entire Chamorro Club was very well organized, with plenty of food stalls and expensive beer (10.000 per can of Poker swill). Great management, inventive lighting, right on time, but the stage was not high enough for everyone to watch. I was in the best location and the sound volume was not strong enough, and you could barely distinguish the guitars. They need to invest in better amps. Deftones were fabulous and very professional.

Bend, Oregon was the most beautiful place for an amazing show like this one. It's also just outside of Chino's new home in Tumalo, OR. The Les Schwab Amphitheater grounds were immaculate and very well kept. I was in a wheelchair and was personally escorted to a phenomenal area just outside of where the bands walk off stage to their bus! I also had a food and drink host that was there to serve me and I just paid the GA ticket price! Aside that this was one unforgettable show, being on 4th of July and all....the Deftones kicked off the festivities with "Head Up" from their 1997 release Around The Fur.

Never seen so many technical problems during a show. Chinos mic cut out numerous times or quit working altogether, so did his guitar. Though it was funny to see him slam it against the stage a few times in anger. Mic cables kept getting hung on things every time he moved around the stage, and he busted it pretty hard slipping on some water that spoiled on the stage. Kind of a disaster for a show, but he pushed through it and did a 3 song encore I think to make up for it. Someone might get fired lol, or at least they aren't going back to Ryman auditorium

AMAZING. Chino was incendiary as expected. He was a beast! Stephan was a master of his craft, at one point caressing a fuscia 12 string monoloth of a guitar. 'Tempest', 'Engine No. 9' and 'Headup' were especially epic moments for me personally. The visuals and art did not disappoint, ranging from beating and dissected hearts to insects and abstract colors. They were at once an indulgent sensory overload and a cathartic purging of ineffable aggression, the very heart of their duality based sound. The adding of 'Diamond Eyes','Headup", 'Rocket Skates', 'Passenger', 'Knife Prty', 'Feticiera', 'Sextape' and "Be Quiet and Drive" were big crowd pleasers. I would have appreciated hearing 'Rosemary' from 'Koi No Yokan' and my nephew was dying to hear 'Back 2 School'. But all in all we did not leave disappointed and were absolutely blown away by the entire band. Abe sounds like he drums with an extra set of arms with tighter timing than an atomic clock. Living legends all. (Incubus was great too!)

As a newer fan of the Deftones, I was excited to see them live for the first time. I was a little disappointed in the show. Chino is a great artist but he screams at a very high pitch way to much. I understand that you are expressing emotions and all of that stuff. The sound was awful and as a result of that, it took alot away from Chino's singing. In my opinion, the one thing alot of artist don't do is view themselves from the other side of the stage. Things don't always sound as good as they think especially when it comes to understanding lyrics of the song. Because I listened to them before the concert, I'm still a fan but if I had went to see them on a whim, I can't say I would be interested in their music. Don't know that I would go out of my way to see them again.
