Black Feather

Black Feather began in 2010 under the name "Breezeway" with Founders, Marc Vargas (formerly of Anewity) & Kyle Mikolajczyk (of HazardHead and numerous other bands). Specializing in Acoustic Covers, the duo always talked of "Going Electric". Made several attempts over the years to put together a steady "live" Line-up. a few projects amounted but nothing with longevity. in 2013, Marc & Kyle turned Breezeway into a 4 piece Alt Rock powerhouse which name later changed to "Twiggy & The Riots" whom disbanded to pursue other interests. in 2014, Marc & Kyle decided to give it one last shot. to record a debut album and go under the name "Black Feather" ~Why "Black Feather"?!?... According to the legend, when someone finds a black feather, it means that the guardian of their soul is near them. The Feather is supposed to remind the individual that he or she is not fighting the battles of this life alone. in Oct 2014, Garrett Ramsden (of HazardHead) joined the flock. His expertise and drive bring Black Feather to full floracion. Together, Black Feather has become one of Detroit's most reknown Rock N' Roll bands. Bringing a powerful dose of positivity to any stage they grace Black Feather also held a top 10 spot on Detroit's Rock Charts, for 1 consecutive year.
