Sam Austin

Born and raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Sam Austin knows what it means to be “country". Picking up the guitar as a young boy, Sam's hobby soon became a passion. In his late teens he began performing solo acoustic shows. As he continued with his acoustic shows his popularity continued to grow, leading to larger audiences and networking with other talented musicians. The Sam Austin Band was formed in 2007. Sam Austin and his band have seen their star steadily rise in the central Virginia region. They maintain a full performance schedule in a wide variety of venues. Sam headlined a gala in 2012 to promote awareness for domestic violence. Sam has now signed a recording contract with Plateau Music Nashville. Very much the traditionalist, Sam is steadfast in his quest to promote and perform real “Country Music” that connects with a broad audience. Produced by Tony Mantor, Sam’s first album is now available at the shows. The new single "Saving It Up" is at Country Radio.
