About Emilio Navaira
Emilio, who also records and performs under his full name, Emilio Navaira, is a cross-over success story from San Antonio Texas, with hits on the country charts as well as on the latin charts with his straight-shooting country-esque brand of tejano music. Emilio had a string of big successes in the tejano market in the early 1990s, and by the mid 1990s, was racking up shelves of awards. His shift to country music with the ballad-heavy albums Life Is Good and On the House expanded his recognition, but at the price of alienating some of his tejano fan base.
