The Villains

There are 3 bands with the name The Villains:

* The Villains include Steve Chmilar, 24, on lead vocals and guitar, Tyler Logan, 23, on bass and Eric Elhanati, 21, on drums. Each members influences are unique. Together they create a diverse sound that is predominantly alternative hard rock, as demonstrated on 'Sad Song Killer' They are an ambitious group who aspire to write and perform music while continuing to build their following in Calgary and abroad.

Steve Chmilar - Guitar/Vox, Tyler Logan - Bass and Eric Elhanati - Drums have been playing music together for 4 years. In that time they recorded a full length album in 2004 and another one to be released on May 30, 2006.

Over the past couple years they have played hundreds of shows and spent time writing and preparing to debut their new album, "Annabelle". The new album was recorded and mixed at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver B.C. in late 2005. Soon after completing the new disc the band entered "From The River" into C192 radio's song writing contest. They won the local contest and were sent to Toronto's Canada Music Week in March of 2006 where they won the National Songwriting Competition.

"From the river" will be released to radio stations across Canada as the first single. Other dates for the tour can be found at www.thevillians.ca
