About Flick Artist

Anything that your mind can conceive, you can achieve.” This is my Motto, and I hope I exemplify it. Mine has been a long journey from childhood in Africa to successful entrepreneurship in Hilliard, Ohio. Presently, I’m a music manager as well as an entrepreneur. I work with independent artists, help execute and develop their self-promotion skills and help them succeed in their musical careers through marketing, music videos, and online promotions. This entrepreneurial spirit was cultivated from an early age. As a young child I worked with my father, and at the age of 14, I started my food shop. It was an eye opener in the world of entrepreneurship, and a real chance to provide a commodity that was in real demand. 14, but I got a taste of what it was like to provide something that people wanted. I also expanded into coffee, tea, and clothing. I came to the US for my studies. After college, I worked at IBM, Alltel and as a support position with Children’s publishing. However, my entrepreneurial spirit still burned and I decided to do what I truly loved. I have long been a lover of music. I decided I could do my part in helping upcoming artists spotlight their work, progress, and upcoming events across the U.S. – thus, FlickArtist was born. Kitamu Coffee was a sanctuary of possibility for young people to meet, believe in their dreams, share ideas and grow their musical talent. It is an extraordinarily popular establishment with audiences of all ages, though I use it primarily to promote a healthy, fun environment for high school students to utilize as a hangout and music spot. The third leg of the pyramid was Ukuwa. This is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the livelihoods of the less fortunate. It works through continued media outreach and grassroots marketing efforts. After 15 years of running my businesses in transport, coffee shop, music venue, marketing for festivals and my youth project to help kids in Africa, I decided to take a break and start traveling. I have met artists, travelers, and influencers in each city. In my spare time either I’m in involved causes that I care about or offer free consulting to young entrepreneur and startups wherever I travel. I want to inspire, educate and empower the youth throughout my travels and experiences. I love life and try to live it to the fullest. Some of the things I enjoy most in life are nature walks, dancing and listening to music. I also love working out and love cooking to maintain a healthy body. I also enjoy spotting good coffee shops and finding hot spots in the cities I travel to. I’m a music manager as well as an entrepreneur. I work with independent artists, help execute and develop their self-promotion skills and help them succeed in their musical careers through marketing, music videos, and online promotions.
