About Deja Groove
Deja Groove is (this is the boring version, see below for more interesting stuff):
Dionne on lead/backing vocals, recorder and tambourine
Lee on lead/backing vocals and percussion
Danny on lead/rhythm guitar and backing vocals
Justin on lead/backing vocals and bass
Our vast collection of pop and rock songs, great live sound and necessity to have fun is guaranteed to please all...Deja Groove is a totally live experience!
Deja Groove a History (the more realistic and historically accurate version for people with an over developed sense of humour):
In the beginning they said "Let there be rock" and there was peace and harmony upon the land, accompanied by much dancing, laughter, consumption of fine food and drink, driven by the incessant beat of the drums, flashing of lights and a screaming guitar at 150 decibels (actually it was much less than that because they were good boys and girls who obeyed the NSW EPA noise restriction guidelines) .
Then there was a disturbance in the force when Adrian the Grey did falter and yea question the true word "Never too old to rock". His pursuit of the quieter life and the desire to not roll up microphone leads at two in the morning led to confusion and a wandering through the wilderness.
Much fun was had in the wilderness, partaking of the pleasures of life, love and music but something was missing, they were not whole :(
Then one night there was an epiphany! There was a hole and the solution was to fill it! After much pizza and beer and nummy treats and indigestion, they decided the solution was not food, they were filling the wrong hole and had to try another door. It was then that they came up with a cunning plan (not quite as clever as Baldrick's, but clever none the less) and they embarked on a new adventure, a new quest, they must find a 5th to add harmony to the band. They were on a mission like Jake and Elwood but with much less country music and fewer car chases.
So they asked around and after a dramatic search through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered they fought their way to the castle beyond the Goblin City......and then they found someone in a week who was sitting a couple of desks over and he was really really nice and really really keen and really really talented and fit the hole perfectly. So not only was harmony returned but it was twin harmonic lead guitar and joy did surge in all their hearts for the future of the Groovers was irrepressible!
