Tony MacAlpine

Very good concert. Tony MacAlpine had younger bands open for him and it was really nice to see. He had a very good show and I liked the new guitarist he had playing with him.

The show was fracking amazing. Tony is a world class gentleman. Verlorener and Pala were great as well!

Incredible show with so many talented bands but none more talented than Tony MacAlpine. Fantastic concert with several gems from Maximum Security included.

What an absolute pleasure it was to be at this event. Met Tony way back in 1989 when i was playing in NY, and he was as courteous then, as he is now. (Even though my picture with him in 89 shows him strangling me) LOL. Kidding aside, his entire entourage was Top Shelf! What a great group of people supporting Tony, and management, (special kudos to Josiah). In most cases, i feel the band is only complimented or as good as the the staff that supports them, A+A+A+ to the whole crew! Talent wise, are you kidding me? This entire band is virtuoso lvl skill. I was stunned at how tight the drumming was, just incredible. The Accompanying guitarist was right on the heels of tony, and as clean as a player. And the Bassist, (whom the wife was all starry eyed over, lol,) was exceptionally clean/tight and fit right in the pocket with the drumming. Best show i have been to in ages. I spent the whole Pre show backstage with the guys and they are ALL as courteous and inviting as tony is. They made us feel right at home. Was great catching up with Tony after the show, and for those standing by wanting to meet him, he’s always approachable and treats everyone as another human, like family even, and not as just another number. Same goes for his band and staff, all very inviting. What management actually has time to share? They usually busy. This is were tony’s shines! Spent the entire night catching up with Josiah. Thanks for the memories JO! Just a superb staff. Ok, I’m done gloating. All said and done, i felt like the show bought me right back to my excited youth, and for a brief moment in time, it was the 1980’s again.......

3bands offering similar styles....3 bands that showed why we continue to see and support LIVE music!!! Jammin Java is on my fave list!

Tony is one of the best guitar virtuoso’s ever and piano player that I’ve ever heard the whole band sounded so phenomenal definitely get out there and catch one of the shows you’ll have no regrets

All three bands were insanely talented and put on a wonderful show. Tony is one of my favorite composers and it was so wonderful to see him again.

Opening band, Arch Echo, was on fire! Highly recommend checking them out. Tony's set was fabulous as well! Flawless performance from him, Emil, and his fill in drummer and bassist (on loan from Arch Echo). I had a blast! Can't wait to see both bands in the near future! 🤘😎🤘

Great sound Great show Unique encounter with greazlt bass drum andguitar solo!!!! Piano play was gr8!!!! Attracted lots of big names from the Hungarian musicians

Super show. Tony toujours généreux . Surprise de taille concernant la présence de Stuart Hamm à la basse alors que rien ne l'indiquait dans les affiches . Dommage cela aurait pu amener encore plus de monde . Superbe endroit très intime dans la rockhall

Grand guitariste, déjà vu plusieurs fois et jamais déçu par l’artiste, accompagné de deux grands noms et dans une ambiance plutôt intimiste, par contre très déçu de l’annonce de l’événement (lieu de base: colosseum genk pour se retrouver finalement à westerlo et sans être vraiment averti...)

The opening band didn't do it for me, and of top of that sometimes I think the musicians for hire forget who the star of the night is. More volume for Tony would've been nice.

Tony played most of my favorites from his first two solo albums: Edge of Insanity and Maximum Security. I am so happy that he has his health back. Thank you Tony!

I didn't go to this show, but I'm pretty sure that it went very well.

Good show. I felt that the guitar volume was too low. Drums and bass kinda drowned him out. Still had a great time.

I actually got to see this same show at the Jammin Java in Vienna VA. Tony and band were incredible! plus I got introduced to 2 other good bands, LoNero and Travis Larson Band. GREAT SHOW!

LoNero and the Travis Larson Band kicked off the evening with and awesome performance, which certainly warmed up the audience for the anticipated and delivered finger shredding talents of Tony MacAlpine. Certainly an incredible time at The Jammin' Java in Vienna last night.

Absolutely brilliant performance Tony's power trio. He covered the entire Maximum Security album and blew me away.
