The venue...well, it is 5 Points. Take the Light Rail...the stop is basically at their front door. This is a venue that is very party friendly...room to sit, room to dance. The drinks are very reasonably priced! And the Elders...well...they never disappoint! Their set was a nice mix of older and newer stuff. Despite the small venue. they played their hearts out...you'd have thought they were playing to a packed stadium. And, Diana Ladio...if you want some serious fiddle, she's the lady for it!
I may have mentioned this to Ian: I would love to see an I-70 Series tour...The Elders representing Kansas City and JigJam repping St. Louis, with a bit of trad between their sets where Kevin and Diana could face off. Hey, universe, ya listening???
