Good show, enthusiastic and in a fantastic setting. Unfortunately not a lot of songs from the current album.
Pre bands were acceptable, musically fine and vocally a little lackluster, at least Madzillalv.
Overall nice evening

Incredible concert, as usual when we're talking about the almighty Angra. They mixed new and incredible songs with absolute classics, and the band showed a lot of energy, even though it was their 5th straight show in 5 days. The only problem was the venue's sound infrastructure, which was subpar to what Angra deserves and represents in the heavy metal scene.
If you ever have the chance to catch Angra in your town or nearby, don't miss it. You won't be disappointed.

About Angra
Angra is a progressive power metal formation from São Paulo, Brazil. Formed in 1991, with Andre Matos (vocals), Luís Mariutti (bass), Marco Antunes (drums), Kiko Loureiro (guitar) and Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), they underwent a big line-up change in 2000, when the vocalist Andre Matos, the bassist Luis Mariutti and the drummer Ricardo Confessori, that have entered after Marco Antunes, left the band and founded Shaman (later renamed to Shaaman) together with Luis' brother Hugo Mariutti.
They were then replaced by Eduardo Falaschi on vocals, Aquiles Priester on drums and Felipe Andreoli on bass.
Angra's new album "Aurora Consurgens" was released on October 2006.
The first single of "Aurora Consurgens" is called "The Course Of Nature" (composed by Eduardo Falaschi and Kiko Loureiro / Lyrics by: Eduardo Falaschi and it's available to download on Angra´s website: http://www.angra.net
