Arcade Fire

There was something special in the air at Malahide for this gig. The stage was perfectly aligned with the sunset, the set list was divine, the visuals stunning and the band had the crowd enthralled from the get go. A gig of a lifetime.

Opening act was entirely forgettable. Climate Pledge was less than half full five minutes before AF took the stage. A beautiful piano solo started things off. Great energy and skill from several band members got the show off to a positive, if not awesome start. With the cloud hanging over the band and a skeptical crowd, the show’s outcome hung in the balance. But professionalism and that amazing AF energy overcame the obstacles and the band and the crowd lifted each other to a frenzied and greatly enjoyable crescendo. Drummer, Jeremy Gara, multi player Richard Reed Perry and most of all, Regine really lifted the band and the crowd. Who knows what the future holds, but I’m really glad I was able to attend this show.

Possibly the best show I’ve ever seen. Definitely the most reflective and immersive show. For a large venue they still made it feel intimate. A moving and amazing concert. I was sad I couldn’t go back for a second night but so grateful I could make this one.

Bought tix the night of the show casually in the 300 section , got seated. Next thing I know is this lovely woman gave us wristbands to the floor, woo hoo! We ended up 3 rows from the band! What a great unexpected turn, the band was sounding excellent!

Bit of a struggle.. took quite some energy to win the audience. Sound was not great in the beginning, too loud, too much treble… but eventually they took the Ziggo and at times energy was as hoped for.

A Halloween show suspiciously lacking costumes to a point where Alex Jones should have been brought in to uncover this mystery. There was no character and the seating arrangement kept the energy low, which is why I typically avoid arena venues. This show further entrenched my weariness around the risks of arena venues, but Arcade Fire played as well to be expected under those conditions.

I really enjoyed this one. The venue is a bit smaller then the places they usually play so the show was a bit more intimate. I was in the Pit right at the gate where the band entered the stage area and also used by Win and Regine to come onto the crowd and sing songs like Sprawl and We don't deserve love. I got to pat Win on his back, and give Regine a high five. It was kinda of funny to see myself on the jumbotron. The band played two of my favorite songs, Suburban War and Roccoco. I have not heard them play Suburban War so this really made the show extremely special to me. Also Will fell down and sprained his ankle but kept on playing his drum. The ticket prices are well worth it. They are truly great! I have pics and video but for some reason it's only letting me post one photo.

Was the best ever ok funeral artwork on backdrop them coming out in the black suits to Tunnels thee Anthem. Then after the third or fourth song I was like damn. Love the new songs but they played my faves creature to put your omg Neon bible songs my body is a cage. Listen when Miss Will approached me I shrieked it was like I couldn’t look at her I couldn’t believe I saw Win looking. I’d have a heart attack backstage how many years ago was Genesis and pigFace?

My husband is the big fan but I love live music, so I tagged along. I ended up knowing one song somehow, but the show ended up being the best concert I’ve been to in YEARS!

Arcade Fire put on a spectacular show! The captivating effects and true showmanship was awesome! The dual disco balls really made it feel like the city's most poppin' dance party. You can tell they really love their fans and they interacted with us all throughout the night. Each song was a unique performance and the overall show was definitely a labor of love for them, it really showed. It was by far an epic experience that I'll treasure forever.

Arcade Fire are demi-gods. The stage and production was UNREAL. Crowd was super bro-y and annoying to hear them chat and bro it up while the show of a lifetime was going on. Nbd. It was amazing. The artistry was through the roof.

Very good use of an odd venue by putting the band in the round. Would have liked to see more Wolf Parade, and it's odd that they didn't play in the round, but both performances were good

Phenomenal show! They played many old favorites from the Neon Bible, Suburbs and Funeral albums and a few from their latest, Creature Comforts. He light shoe was mesmerizing and a perfect complement to the music. Lots of dancing and singing ensued. The floor tickets at USF were amazing and we were super close to the band. At one point, they joined the crowd to sing and walked out a few steps from where were. Highly recommend that any fan catches this year's tour. You'll regret it if you don't!

Geile Performance der Band. Der Sound war in Ordnung, allerdings deutlich zu leise. Schade dass die Band auch nach über 15 Minuten Zugaberufen nichts mehr gespielt hat, das könnte allerdings auch am Veranstalter gelegen haben. Dann allerdings von der super miesgelaunten Security mit Absperrband rausgeekelt zu werden war unter aller Kanone. Ungenuss.

It was more than just a concert. It was one of the most amazing events I will ever see, I can guarantee you'll enjoy it. near the end of the show, Win said something like "people are still rude enough to yell faggot out of a pick up truck" (to someone on the street) and they then played We Exist. If you haven't seen these amazing people perform, add it to your bucket list. It's worth it.

The Friday night was disappointing with the sound and acoustics, could hardly hear the lyrics and I couldn't believe how many people stood around talking throughout the show... The Saturday night We couldn't believe the contrasts in nights, the sound was better, could hear the lyrics and the crowd was well up for it and played a different set... Thoroughly enjoyed The Saturday gig...

The Starlight Theatre in Kansas City is a great outdoor venue and Arcade Fire made it even better. The band sounded amazing and put on a terrific show. I'd give it five stars, but I don't want to seem overly enthusiastic. All in all, we had a blast and heard one of our favorite bands live. Good stuff.

They really expanded the band for this tour. They had up to eleven musicians on the stage per song. It was a fabulous sound. Loved the atmosphere they created by asking the audience to dress up. Regine is such a showman she just seems like she loved every second of performing. Was pleasantly surprised by tune yards.

Beyond words, I'm still a little speechless. Always heard that Arcade Fire are an awesome Live Band but this was even better than my expectations. Maybe it was the setlist which was pretty good in my opinion, but the arena didn't feel like an arena at all!!! Thank you Arcade Fire definetly gonna see u again!
