Walter was terrific! The house was sold out and everyone was feeling Walter’s scorching vibes!
The band was made up of seasoned musicians who had resumes that included the Edgar Winter Band, Dylan’s studio band and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Walter paid tribute more than once to his “mentor, friend and father” who he claimed was very patient with him in his early years (1982-1987)
with the Bluesbreakers—-that person being John Mayall.
Walter played Courage in the Night from his latest album (number 31) Broken. He also played Red Sun from Soul Survivor. The entire set list was great and the crowd was loving it.
Walter mentioned he had just finished album number 32, so he’s just as active and prolific as he was 40 years ago!
We are so fortunate and lucky to still have this Bluesbreaker Crusader taking the stage and showing us how it’s done!
Thanks, Walter and company.
See you next time.

It was an Amazing show from that first riff of "I can tell" to the last note of "Going down". There was a bass solo and drum solo. Walter played a little harmonica too. Venue was great, we will be back again.

You won't be disappointed. Walter has demonstrated his skill with the one lone guitar he plays. He's traveling with a young guy ( Brett Smith Daniels ) He doesn't come on until the end, he will blow you away with his guitar playing!!!

Walter Trout (born 1951 in Ocean City, New Jersey) is a blues guitarist and front man of Walter Trout and the Radicals.
Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 60's and early 70's that jump started the career of artists like Bruce Springsteen. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for such artists as Percy Mayfield and Deacon Jones. He also worked in the bands of John Lee Hooker and Joe Tex.
In 1981 be became the guitarist for blues rock band Canned Heat. This led to an invitation to play in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers where he shared the stage with guitarist Coco Montoya. He left the Bluesbreakers in 1989 and formed the Walter Trout Band which developed a successful following in Europe.
In 1998 Trout released his self-titled domestic debut CD and renamed his band Walter Trout and the Free Radicals (later renamed Walter Trout and the Radicals). Since that time Trout has been recording and touring both in North America and in Europe.
