Wax Fang

Wax Fang is the nom de plume of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Scott Carney. It began as a solo project with 2005’s Black & Endless Night, an albume-ette of quirky pop songs, grew into a three piece non-cept album, La La Land, and 2012’s brooding EP, Mirror, Mirror, before becoming a two piece recording project for 2014’s space-rock opera, The Astronaut. In 2017, Victory Laps and the follow up single, Glass Island, continued the sonic palette formed on The Astronaut, where guitar driven rock meets synth pop. Their latest release, Repetition, is a 4 song EP of older material that never made it onto a release. Current personnel includes bassist Corey McAfee, keyboardist Zach Driscoll and drummer Josh Moore. They are currently working on the 5th Wax Fang studio album.
