The absolute GREATEST concert I’ve been to in a long time. Both artists were SUPERB!!!! It was a mesmerizing journey back into the 1980s. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Blades at the meet and greet, and he was the nicest person ever to walk the planet. He performed my favorite hit of all time, “The Look of Love” and he sounded exactly the same as he did back in 1982. Howard Jones was also phenomenal !!! he has never sounded better. As an added bonus, Mr. Jones pleasantly surprised us by revealing that one of his guitarists was the founding member of the 80s group “Kajagoogoo” , and Mr. Jones as an homage to the the group performed the smash hit “Too Shy”, and everyone sang along. It was very moving. Both artists performed every single one of their songs and to see both artists perform was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!! If I had the money, I would see them again!!!

Great show! Martin Fry sounded incredible and the band was awesome- watching one guy play keyboard, sax, and flute was amazing! And the guitar player rocked it out of the park! Nick Beggs joining Howard was SO cool- loved their version of Too Shy! And of course, Richard Blade kept us all entertained with his inside stories of everything 80’s music-oriented! Loved it!

If Martin Fry and ABC come anywhere near your town, go see them. The ever-erudite Martin delivers his trademark clever lyrics with a clear, strong voice backed by an incredibly tight band. Ripping guitars, thumping bass-lines, wailing saxophone, powerful drums, and two synthesizers.

My 1st time seeing ABC after a few decades of listening to their music — Martin and the band were fantastic. I really enjoyed the show and look forward to seeing them again. Hopefully soon.

Hey there Martin ! Fantastic show last night in the Desert. We saw you a few months ago in SD at The Sound with Haircut 100. We love the Sax player , so so good. Martin your voice is just as amazing as it was 40 years ago.

Great gig, and Martin Fry was his usual charismatic self! However, Union Chapel, though a beautiful and intimate venue, was absolutely freezing and we all sat there in our coats.

Really enjoyed listening to Martin Fryer about his humble beginnings of his music career. Also singing some of his greatest hits. Forty years in the music business, that is some achievement. I hope he will be writing some more hits very soon. Thanks, Rob Campbell.

Was great really nice in the Spanish hall. I noticed there was lift to the floor,plus stairs. Nice having a bar upstairs was happy with the seating I sat on the end so I could get up and dance.

Everything was amazing!! ABC , Howard Jones fantastic as usual!!!. Haircut 100 was next level sounded so good live and so much fun to watch! Please come back to San Diego as the main act!

One of the most amazing concert experiences I have had ! Danced and sang with a huge smile on my face. Such huge fans since we were kids. Loved it ! Highly recommend adding this to your bucket list bands to see. I ❤️ Martin !!!! ⭐️🌟⭐️💫⭐️

You when you record an entire album using a trumpet and then show up Live to play those same songs but using a saxophone it just doesn't ring true. I don't understand, why not just use the trumpet when that's the original instrument used on the album. SMH

Martin Fry is always amazing. He is the show and headliner... Great song list and great vocals still - always worth the price. He is a great artist and continues to out shine others of his age! Best of the 80's by far! Go see them if you get the chance!!!!!!

Brilliant show. Martin Fry’s voice was still as strong as ever and the orchestra were superb. My only slight criticism was lack of leg space in grand circle seating, even though I’m not tall.

Standout concert, album was made for this event. Orchestra were not only brilliant, also added to the overall experience. Stalls standing would have added to the atmosphere, wouldn’t miss this again if & when it comes round again. Only negative for me was backing singer being positioned so far back, when her contribution is key.

ABC was so amazing! Martin Fry sounded as wonderful as ever! The sound quality was excellent. It was my first time at this venue. I feel that the setup with all the tables and chairs kind of stifles people from standing up and dancing. However, I got up and danced the entire evening.

Martin Fry and band sounded great! They invited everyone to come up front. So great! Easy to get in and out of venue. I with there was merchandise from the band. Drink options could have been better!

Great show. Martin was in fine voice and the band is tight. Great atmosphere and crowd. So good to see great songs performed impeccably by on of the great voices.

My first time at The Des Plaines Theatre. A very nice venue. The opening band First Wave was a very good tribute band. ABC was fantastic. My first time seeing them.

Have waited for years to see him. They killed it, Martin's voice is still amazing, he's got a top notch, tight band. Set list is great! Would love to hear Show Me & Many Happy Returns next time or with an orchestra. They were so good at Summerfest, I went to see them then next night an hour away... There should have been much bigger crowds for this iconic band/voice! Please Come again!!!

Waited 40 years to see Sheffield’s finest, ABC, and they didn’t disappoint. A lavish production with a 40 piece orchestra in support. Martin Fry’s voice is as powerful as ever and the many highlights included a lovely rendition of ‘All of My Heart’ and a wistful ‘Ocean Blue’. Only quibble is that the orchestra demand a venue that can accommodate them and in Glasgow that’s the Royal Concert Hall which is an all seated venue. Most of the audience were itching to stand or dance which the classical venue inhibited somewhat.
