Terrific show! I love the video and the history behind the songs of Neil Diamond, both spoken by Denny and read in the video presentation. The show was so much fun, a lot of laughs and so nice to sit back and enjoy and sing along. Denny’s deeper voice is beautiful, and lends itself beautifully to the songs. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

About Denny Svehla

I began my career in '1977' after landing the role of Billy Bigelow in a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Carousel." Ever since then I have been singing in on stage.

In '1999' I auditioned for Dick Clark's "Your Big Break" where I sang Neil Diamond's "America." Since then I have traveled the country performing a tribute to Neil Diamond's music.

After Covid, I began referring to myself as "The World's Okayest Vocalist" and performing a number of different shows singing a variety of music from the 40's to the 80's and including, my favorite, songs made famous in musicals. I did continue my tribute to Neil Diamond in a show I call, "a Neil Diamond story," where I tell stories of his life, the inspiration behind some of his songs and how I came to be part of the tribute industry.

This show is a must for fans, an education to the uninitiated, this is a tribute show made with true respect for the music - and the audience.

"Denny Svehla brings natural warmth to your heart and a new breath of life to Neil Diamond's music. Denny as Neil Diamond sound like Americana: Warm, comforting - just what you expect! Captivating! Energetic! Charismatic! A guaranteed crowd pleaser and a sold out show" - Woodstock Opera House, Woodstock, IL.

"Full of comedic banter and honest moments, Denny played an incredible hour of what he called "feel good" music, celebrating the man who brought the world hits such as "Sweet Caroline" and "Coming to America."
