The Digs

A chaotic blend of melodic rock 'n' roll, hook-heavy pop punk, and catchy chorus' define all that is "The Digs". Full of powerful riff rockers, pop punk anthems and catchy choruses, the group's 2015 release Manic "packs a lot of sound and technical acumen into the package of a rock trio" (Dying Scene). The Digs no holds barred energy has been hailed as "a frantic blast from start to finish", which translates effortlessly from stage straight to turntable (Defend Pop Punk Reviews). "Kinetic", the band's 4-track EP releases on Ocelot Records in spring of 2017.

Jeff Demas (guitar), Andrew Dedousis (bass), and Steve Knowles (drums) have been writing music together since 2013. "We all love rock, we all love punk, and we've all been in both types of bands. This time we decided to bring the two genres together and create something that gives ourselves and rock/punk music fans the best of both worlds" (Steve). All three members are heavily involved in the Boston and greater New England music scenes; Jeff also plays guitar and sings for The Functionals, Andrew is the guitarist for both The Drunk Nuns and The Runouts, and Steve is the founder and label manager of Ocelot Records, where the band currently calls home.
