About Bowfire
Bowfire was formed in June 2000 by Lenny Solomon to bring together a group of virtuoso string players and backup musicians. They play music from all over the world, and often include instruments not often seen in the west, such as the Chinese erhu.
The show includes everything from Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Celtic, Rock, Gypsy, World, Texas Swing and Ottawa Valley and Cape Breton styles and mixes in step and tap dancing - often while still playing their violins!
Because the performers change often, you'll almost never see the same show twice.
