Yolanda Charles' Project PH

Yolanda Charles MBE - the internationally renowned bassist and songwriter has worked with artists such as Hans Zimmer, Paul Weller, Robbie Williams, BB King, Eric Clapton, Roger Daltrey, Van Morrison, Mick Jagger, and Michael Jackson in an exemplary career of thirty years and counting.
The soulful and heavily funky Project pH features the skills of London-based Nick Linnik, who provides a stunning and unique voice as lead guitarist. His wide-ranging skill as a musician has his role expanded to co-writer and co-producer of the band’s sound. The funkiest groove player Nico Py is on drums. Pianist Hamish Balfour brings a wide range of experience as a composer and arranger. The voices of the band are provided by the superb soulful delivery of vocalists Paris Ruel and Adeola Shyllon highlighting Yolanda’s eclectic songwriting skills, another element of Yolanda’s deeply impressive musical spectrum.
The group has a long-running Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club residency has appeared at the venues listed below and continues to tour the UK and beyond.
