Ultra Q

I love this band so much!! so so so good live every time!

I need two places to review this: one for the show itself, and one for the venue! The show was excellent, lots of energy from all three bands, set lengths were just right, and I heard my favorite songs from each of them! I also enjoyed chatting with various band members at the merch booth. Couldn't afford most of the merch, but that's not their fault. (Thank you, ultraQ, for having a good option for us broke people: a $5 keychain!) Regarding the venue: My husband is mobility impaired and on crutches, which was a huge challenge during SXSW the week before this show. So it was a delightful shock when we made it about 10 steps inside this venue before the stage manager came hurrying up to us to offer a place to sit (a stool next to the stage) in the otherwise standing-room-only concert area! He even checked on us from time to time! When we needed to wait for an Uber after the show, Sam (the guy manning the front door then) was also quick to offer up his stool; he followed up by helping us look out for our ride, and even walked half a block to where the car stopped so he could help us get ourselves and the crutches inside! (Did I mention Sam uses a cane/walking stick himself?) Fantastic overall experience; we're looking forward to future shows from Stateside, ultraQ, and Anxious, and we'll definitely be back to the Empire Control Room!

these guys put on a great show :3 hearing vr sex and waiting live for the first time was truly an out of body experience, i fr started levitating. also got to keep half of the setlist which was rad, cant wait to see yall again ;)

Great sound, great set list, excellent venue, Chris at the drums was spot on, Kevin at the bass was incredible, Jakob vocals were amazing , great show we had a great time, thank you Ultra Q for another breathtaking performance.

Great show, the boys hit it out of the park!

The Lodge room is an AMAZING venue that showcases the best bands. The sound is fantastic and my group was up close in front of the stage right below the performers. As the night went on we could feel the sweat raining down on us from the band members! There is plenty of free parking available surrounding the venue.

Jakob vocals were pitch perfect, Enzo was incredible, Chris was breathtaking and Kevin was amazing. Extraordinary show , wonderful music and magical setlist, my respects to the production I highly recommend the band.

Great line up! Ultra Q was amazing- music hits and vocals are so excellent. Such a talented band!

Ultra Q not only has a great live sound, but two of the band mates signed my shirt and are some of the coolest dudes around. Cloud Nothings was second up, and fucking killed it with the heavy intrumental vibes. Wavves topped off the night with some throwbacks and a surprise new song! 10/10 drinks, awesome staff and all around just a fun experience.

Venue was great as always (although would appreciate more flexible re-entry policy so I could drop off purchased vinyl and shirts in my car), Band was awesome. Looking forward to a headlining show.

I wasn’t familiar with this band when I went to see Courtney Barns, but one of the best opening bands I’ve seen. They were great and having Enzo shredding right in front of me was a memorable concert experience. Can’t wait to see them again.

They’re always so warm and welcoming towards everyone and they have an amazing stage presence!

such a down to earth band. the most fun ive had at a concert in awhile. if you get a chance to see them, go. you won't regret it.

If you have a chance to see ultra q don’t pass that opportunity up. This is my second time seeing them and not only are they incredibly talented and make amazing music, but they are also some of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.
