About Jesse Roach Music
Jesse Roach Bio
I was born in Georgia, but my family moved every couple of years because my Dad was in the military. So me and my family lived in 6 different states while I was growing up. While moving around to different states every few years I definitely learned very early in my life that I loved to sing, so much that I began singing in church groups and other musical events, but after I taught myself how to play guitar I finally got serious about following my dreams of being a singer/songwriter.
One of my first big opportunities and breakout success was audition for American Idol, in which I received a golden ticket to Hollywood. Even though I was only on the show for a very short time, the show definitely fueled my passion even more.
My old school country roots are very evident in my writing and performances, which I guess comes from me being a huge Hank Jr fan. Which has driven my need to perform and express myself, so I found a guitar, put my stories to music and began singing to whoever was around. Which is why I’ve been described in the press as talented, sexy, passionate and completely alluring. That my music has been called real, unaffected and simply magical. A true natural in my singing and writing, reflecting the deep South Texas blues heritage absorbed as a child and that I introduced a modern sensibility to the old passion.
Even though 2020 wasn’t your typical year by any means me or anyone else, it definitely left me a lot more time for focusing on my songwriting and now that 2020 is behind us all. I’m so looking forward to 2021 and getting back in the studio to record my next album, which I’m hoping to release later in2021 and definitely getting out there and playing for my fans.
Love,
Jesse
