Yächtley Crëw

Sadly, they were not at their best. This was the 6th time I’ve seen them. Usually the show is off-the-chart with excellence ! This night they struggled!! Lead singer was off key all night. (Was he sick? Couldn’t hear?). Couldn’t hit any of the high notes (and some of the lower register was just not good either ). It was painful to watch. And sad. Energy level was also down. Honestly, it just felt like lead singer was sick and they just all wanted to get through the night and go home. (If that was the case, I’d rather them say so! At least it would have stirred empathy instead of “wow-they are off tonight”. ) Great venue, although it was not without problems as well. Several missed mic cues and “popping” sounds in the system throughout the night. I am hugely happy that I did not bring newbies with me. I know Yachtly Crew can be outstanding and will look for another opportunity to hopefully have them redeem themselves.

The band was amazing! The venue could use some improvement regarding their line situation. Took 2 hours for the line to clear allowing everyone in and most missed the opening band. Band missed merchandise sales and venue missed on concessions. But the band was just amazing. Yatchley Crew put on a show that combined with the music just makes the night magical. Will be seeing them again when they return

This band is freakin amazing!! We’ve seen multiple times and will go to more shows. That said, taking the stage to begin playing 90 minutes(!!!) AFTER the widely advertised “start time” was a HUGE disappointment. Ticketmaster, Bands In Town and The Sound all advertised, (and The Sound confirmed with me by email) that Yachtly Crew would play from 9pm to 10:30pm. With that information, we chose NOT to get a hotel room, realizing that even with an hour drive, we’d be home before Midnight. But coming on stage SO late pushed the concert well past midnight (which would have been fine if we had known this ahead of time). The first-timers we brought with us had a babysitter lined up until midnight. It made it very embarrassing, for us, but out of our control that they had to repeatedly explain that the band was late while updating the sitter that they’d be super late getting home. All the advertising should have reflected the REAL start time of Yachtly Crew so the guests could plan better. Also, that DJ (which there was zero advertising about an “opening act”- or we would have arrived later) was WAY way too long and he played nearly the entire set list that we were there to hear the band play! It was just super uncomfortable from 8pm until the band finally took the stage at nearly 10:30. Whew! That was a lot and a huge complaint about timing. Now, the good: Yachtly Crew is THE Yacht Rock band as far as we are concerned. We are FANS! The Sound was a fabulous venue!!! All the staff from ushers, to coat-check to bartenders were friendly and helpful. The sound system and lighting were top notch. Any opportunity to return to The Sound will be welcomed. All in all we enjoyed our time and look forward to more from Yachtly Crew.

I was pleasantly surprised. I have never been to The Casino at Dania Beach/Stage 954. I was impresssed with the venue and the crowd as well. I am a big yacht rock fan. I will see just about any band that will play that kind of music. I got a kick out of their name and looked them up, only to find out that they are very popular. My friends and I decided to spend Halloween with them! The band was fun and entertaining!! They also played some songs that I have not heard other bands play before, so their playlist was amazing. They had a great energy and everyone appeared to be having fun. I hope they come back to South Florida because we would definitely see them again and bring more friends!! Thanks for a great show.

The group is fantastic. Real showmen! They work their hearts out to provide a great experience for all. The Mil is not the best venue for their type of show, however. Sound was pretty bad. That saxophone player, though ... Pauly Shores ... he is phenomenal! What a fantastic talent! We had a great evening and enjoyed the concert immensely. Thank you, Yächtley Crëw!

The music was great. Song after song after song. Lots of Hall and Oates. Wham. Player. Really no breaks. Silly dance moves but I liked them. There was one rap song which I thought was odd because that is not Yacht Rock. The only problem was the lead singer did not seem to be singing. He held the microphone very far away from his mouth. Very rarely did you actually hear his voice. Everyone in the crowd noticed because they were yelling "we can't hear you". I'm not sure what the deal was with that. Otherwise totally fun night singing songs we all know.

Super fun. Great concert by Yachtly Crew. Loved them!! The Radio Thieves (openers) were not good. What kind of 80’s New Wave band dresses in cowboy hats and fringe shirts ?!?! Made no sense. Also-Wish all the food options were available to general admission (taco truck was exclusive to VIP). And we were really disappointed that we could not come in and out of the venue. Should have had wristbands. . We love Little Italy and planned on checking in to concert early, leaving to eat in Little Italy, and coming back in time for concert opener. This was not allowed and very disappointing. The venue was “Little Italy” but we couldn’t go eat in town. What??AND the food truck options were Hawaiian and gyros. Ugh!!!! Nothing Italian and not allowed to go get Italian. Boo!!!! Thankfully drinks from the bar inside Music Box were of quality. We love Yachtly Crew and will continue to go to their concerts.

Absolutely wonderful show! The music was done to perfection. Many performers doing tribute music butcher the songs; but not this group. They represented the music well. The performance of their own song was also well done; hope to hear more original music in the future. The performance was vey entertaining (even the show within the show- though I would have liked him to have a piano solo to showcase his talent as well as his comedic side). Hope they come back to western PA next year!!!

This was a fun show. The opening act, Surf Monsters, was entertaining. Who would have thought that Duran Duran and the Go Gos could be covered in surf style? I will admit that I am biased. This was my 12th Yachtley Crew show. The set list was awesome. In fact, I saw YC in Pleasanton the night before. It had a different playlist. Great singing. Fun not so serious choreography. And the song of the night was “Baker Street.” Those who were there would understand. This was my first time to Rocklin Quarry Park. It was spacious. The facilities were clean. And the food vendor quality was top notch.

Awesome Band and Venue! Everyone was into the music and great hospitality. About 1/2 of the guests were there for the 1st time to see them perform. Only negative comment was the Bass level was too high. Folks were complaining at the end that it was taking a toll on them. Glad they are back up to 7 performers. Maybe some day they will have guest female vocals to sing some of music from this era.

Really fun show! Classy venue, well set up. Yachtley Crew put on a romp of a performance playing all the hits we knew by heart. Great lighting and music. My only complaint is of the Sound venue itself, I feel that $15 for parking and $15 for a beer on top of admission is exorbitant.

These guys are THE BEST yacht rock band out there. Not only are they entertaining, they are comprised of some of the best musicians in the biz! The show is non stop fun from the first note to the last. Impossible to not sing along and dance to literally every song. This is a family friendly show, as I have seen several kids there and enjoying the show too. Great also for a girls night out, or for couples. It's just an all around great time! If you've never seen them, GO!

Yachtley Crew has become, easily, a top 5 band for me, and this show was no exception. It was the first concert I've attended at SLO Brew Rock, and I was pleased with the venue - great sound, spacious even though the show was sold out, and great view. The band put on a killer show that was so much fun, and I can't wait until they come back! My one complaint was that I did not see a time for doors open anywhere on my ticket or in my emails. All it said was 7 pm. We got to The Rock for dinner and drinks before hand, and were ready to do in at 7 pm, but then the show did not start until 8:30. A clearer timeline would be appreciated.

This was a great show! They had a nice variety of merchandise at their table at the entrance. These guys never disappoint. They have great energy along with stellar talent and amazing stage presence. They truly seem to appreciate their fans. Their performance is unique as it takes a person born in the 60’s and 70’s back to memories with recognizable music from the era that evoke emotion and excitement. It is like revisiting your childhood through music that can hold many good and bad times. Do not expect a take on “Motley Crue” tunes as that is opposite from the “Yacht Rock” that these guys sing. The singer is no joke with his incredible range and connection with the crowd. The saxophonist isn’t afraid to rush forward and play in your face and is mega talented with a good balance of humor and musicianship. The guitarist is a shredder and most likely can play anything in any style. He is also friendly and seems to have a humbleness while laying down incredible riffs. The drummer is amazing and sings one of their songs. He is full of positive energy and consistent. The bassist relates well to the audience and hands out plenty of guitar picks with a smile. He is funny and mega talented. They need a bigger venue in the San Luis Obispo/Pismo Beach area. Their fan base is expanding quickly and I encouraged many locals to see them at the venue last night while they can enjoy them in a smaller, intimate setting. I have suggested The Fremont Theater to a couple of the guys as it would be an optimal place for them to perform. They have outgrown their “boats” so to speak and I look to seeing them multiple times in the future. Forever a Yachtley Crew fan and an anchor in this life of chaos and confusion. Diane ⚓️

Yachtley Crew does a sensational job of covering the yacht rock era. The choreography and song list makes the evening even more magical! Wife and I truly enjoyed the venue and entertainment! Had the pleasure of meeting the musicians at the conculsion of the show - nice time all around!

So fun! This is our second time seeing the Crew and they do not disappoint. They put on a great show, with great energy. Played for well over two hours and were going just as strong for the encore as the opening song. Seating and service at the Coach House were both great. Our server kept the drinks and food on point. We had a great evening. Can't wait for the Crew to come back!

Loved the show itself. As always the band was terrific. As for the venue, not really my thing—too many super drunk people all crowding together with no regard for those next to them. The opening act was also not my taste and delayed the show starting until 10pm. Ugh! YC does not need an opening act. Some of us need our sleep and we cannot get home at 2 in the morning!

These guys bring it all the time! These guys are in a category of their own. They are the definition of a cover band because they cover all artist of soft rock from the 70’s and 80’s. I pay to see them play and was treated to a free concert. Thank you!

Phenomenal show. First time seeing these guys, they don’t seem to play the east coast much but I’ll definitely go out of my way to see them again if they come anywhere near me! First clas entertainment, great musicianship, bit of showmanship best show I’ve been to in forever it feels like

Didn't even know Yachtley Crew existed before this event, but what a great show! Band is very interactive with the crowd and plays great music that everyone sings along with. My only issue with the venue was that they didn't make it clear that the doors opened at 7pm but the show didn't start until almost 8:30pm.
