About How The West Was Won
How The West Was Won is a Christian influenced Metalcore band based in Portland, Oregon. The founding band members came together in 2010 in Canby, Oregon where the band originated from. After changing members around they named their quintet How The West Was Won in the Summer of 2011. Their debut Self Entitled EP was released on iTunes on November 2nd with the help of Neil Engle (Sleeping With Sirens, Alesana, Dance Gavin Dance, Between The Buried And Me) from Goat Shed Recording Studios. Since their first exposure to the Portland music scene in early November of 2011, How the West Was Won is continuing to develop their unique sound and overall stage performances to reach out to their fans and spread the word of our King, Jesus Christ.
