Descendants of Erdrick

Descendants of Erdrick is a progressive/metal video game tribute band from Austin, Texas, specializing in (but not limited to) covers of "epic" role-playing/adventure genre games. The band’s repertoire covers soundtracks ranging from classic adventure franchises and games such as THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, FINAL FANTASY, CHRONO TRIGGER, SUPER MARIO BROS, and SECRET OF MANA, among others. The name of the band is in reference to the first-ever console JRPG, DRAGON WARRIOR (also known as DRAGON QUEST). In the true spirit of the role-playing/adventure game, each instrumental "medley" of songs is aimed at telling a story, often using sound effects, ambient vocals, and visuals alongside the instrumentals to establish a mood.
