About Shit Robot

Dublin born Marcus Lambkin moved to NYC in '92 and started DJing in bars around the east village. This led to a residency at the now legendary save the robots. He formed Plant records with Dominique Keegan, Plant Saturdays at centro-fly and then Plant bar. It was at Plant bar that Marcus teamed up with James Murphy to start the shit robot party. In 2003 Marcus left Plant to work independantly and in 2005 moved to Stuttgart with his wife. Marcus has been touring the U.S. and Europe as shit robot with LCD Soundsystem and the Juan Maclean. He is currently building a home studio and working on a new record.
