Douglas Harvey

After spending years as the front man for heavy metal outfit Enlightened By Darkness (QLD), Douglas packed up his sh#t and moved to Perth (Western Australia); where he began his Stand Up Comedy career in 2013.

He has has the honour of being feature act for Brian Posehn (USA), appeared at Southbound Festival (WA) and countless Fringe World appearances; and has even opened for death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder (USA).

As an award nominated musician, Douglas blends tales of his f#cked up life with the Rock N Roll ethos and performs an eclectic style of traditional stand up and musical comedythat will upset your preacher, your teacher and your Nanna..

Douglas is also the host of the HYPER MANIC NOIZE PODCAST: a wild ride through the minds of comedians, musicians and other interesting individuals. It's dark, dirty and bloody hilarious: A platter of uncensored hysteria, served with a side of steamed dick jokes.
