Salvo Bruno

Salvo Bruno was born in Catania in June 1985. Even as a child is attracted to music in all its facets and nuances. At the age of 16, he entered into contact with the underground culture, participating in numerous parties and after in Sicily, remaining deeply fascinated. Buy the first equipment and started practicing in his studio, trying to refine the technique in detail. He began playing in various private parties and immediately the large group of friends with enthusiasm drives him to expand his musical knowledge. Since 2005 began his first appearances among the clubs of the country; in a few time he joined the group "Amici del Coniglio" and from there he began to collaborate with "La Rambla" (RG), where he played for the first time alongside artists of high caliber. His musical style is influenced by bases techno, house and electronics. With a groove full of drums, dub bass and melodic synths is able to express a refined sound and create a festive atmosphere; his DJ sets have the peculiarity of having a strong impact with the audience. After spending two summer seasons in "La Rambla" Salvo, in autumn 2008, joins the family "Movement of House". The staff organizes numerous evenings in Caltagirone (CT), hosting several regional artists. In 2012 he joined the crew of Catania "Av Paradise", participating in the project "Diatonico" (Barbara). From there begin also numerous collaborations with "With Love, Houserepublic, Dome, Afc" through which it has the opportunity to perform alongside world-class artists in the most important locations of the province, receiving much appreciations from the audience. He has participated in numerous festivals as "Rizla Event (CT), Muzik Village (CT), Sicily Music Village (RG), COCOON CATANIA, One Day Music (CT)". In recent years he has been involved in several projects in Catania area. Salvo Bruno nasce a Catania nel giugno 1985. Fin da bambino è attratto dalla musica in tutte le sue sfaccettature e sfumature. All’età di 16 anni entra in contatto con la cultura underground partecipando a numerosi party e after in tutta la Sicilia, restandone profondamente affascinato. Compra le prime attrezzature e inizia ad esercitarsi all'interno del suo studio, cercando di affinare la tecnica nei minimi particolari. Comincia a suonare in diversi party privati e da subito il numeroso gruppo di amici lo spinge con entusiasmo ad ampliare le sue conoscenze musicali. Dal 2005 iniziano le sue prime apparizioni tra i locali della provincia; dopo pochissimo tempo entra a far parte del gruppo "Amici del coniglio" e da lì comincia la collaborazione con “La Rambla” (RG), dove suona per la prima volta a fianco ad artisti di grosso calibro. Il suo stile musicale è influenzato da basi techno, house ed elettroniche. Con un groove ricco di drums, bassi dub e synth melodici è in grado di esprimere un sound ricercato e di creare un’atmosfera di festa; i suoi dj set hanno la peculiarità di avere un fortissimo impatto con il pubblico. Passano due stagioni estive a “La Rambla” e Salvo, nell'autunno 2008, si unisce alla famiglia "Movement of House". Lo staff organizza numerose serate nel calatino, ospitando diversi artisti regionali. Nel 2012 entra a far parte della crew catanese “Av Paradise”, partecipando al progetto “Diatonico” (Barbara Disco Lab). Da lì iniziano anche numerose collaborazioni con "With Love, Houserepublic, Dome, Afc" attraverso le quali ha la possibilità di esibirsi al fianco di artisti di fama mondiale nelle più importanti location della provincia, ricevendo molti apprezzamenti da parte del pubblico. Ha partecipato a numerosi festival come “Rizla Event (CT), Muzik Village (CT), Sicily Music Village (RG), COCOON CATANIA, One Day Music (CT)". Negli ultimi anni è stato coinvolto in diversi progetti nell' area catanese.
