About Monique Walker

Monique Walker, is one of the few Gospel Choir soloists who has been able to stay relevant in the Gospel Music arena for over three decades. Honorably recognized both in the states and Internationally, she is an heir to the "Institutional C.O.G.I.C." Dynasty; legendary institution known for initiating the careers of relevant gospel legends dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. It is because of this incredible influence and lineage - that she's been a constant, recognizable presence and voice in the gospel arena for over a quarter of a century.

Affectionately referred to as "Moe" by childhood friends, Evangelist Monique Walker is the grand-daughter of the "Institutional C.O.G.I.C.'s founder, the late Bishop Carl E. Williams, Sr.; she is also the daughter of the current pastor Bishop Carl E. Williams, Jr.
Evangelist Monique Walker gained national and international recognition singing lead songs with the "Love Fellowship Crusade Choir." She is known for her incredible range, phenomenal presentation and exemplary vocal acrobatics, which are found in songs like “Let the Glory,” “Thank You,” “He’s On Your Side,” “There’s Been A Change,” “Try Christ” and “Second Chance.” She's also shared the gospel stage with every gospel artist of note, including Donnie McClurkin and The Winans just to name a few.

After decades of singing with others on their projects, she completed her first solo endeavor In 2008, entitled "My Genesis." Years later it is still relevant and garners attention on gospel chart ratings polls.
C.O.G.I.C. women are known for their exemplary fashion sense; Evangelist Monique Walker is no exception. She has served as an exemplary example of what the scriptures describes as a “virtuous woman.” The most prominent influence to this end for Evangelist Monique Walker is the matriarch of the Institutional C.O.G.I.C., her grandmother, Shepherd Mother Elvonia Williams. Evangelist Monique Walker attributes her grandmother's influence and constant guidance in her life, as the foundation for which she shares life's lessons to her daughter, Kyasia Walker.

As a Evangelist, Soloist, Psalmist, Mother, Daughter and Leader, Evangelist Monique Walker, is a unique gift to the people of GOD. She has been an encouragement to thousands and has touched millions throughout her career as a professional gospel singer. Her commitment to GOD and his people is unwavering, although her "Genesis" may have begun in 2008, there are a plethora of new things she has to share with the world.
