Nephren-Ka

Nephren-Ka saw the light in 2006 and have released two records: “Revenge and Supremacy”, first self-released and then re-released via Great Dane Records, “The Fall of Omnius” in 2013 with Kaotoxin Records, “La Grande Guerre de l’Épice” in 2017 with Dolorem Records and "From agony to transcendence" in 2021. Nephren-Ka still play Death Metal with their roots stemming as much from the second wave (Hate Eternal, Origin, Zyklon, Hour Of Penance, Angelcorpse) than from the first wave (Morbid Angel, Deicide, Immolation), sometimes even delving into Black Metal territory and always lyrically inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune cycle. The latest album is a concept album with nine chronological phases based on the « Houses » prequel stories of Herbert’s son and dealing with the attempt to create synthetic Spice and the ensuing imperial war. For the first time in Nephren-Ka’s history, a few tracks have been performed in French.


In the past few years Nephren-Ka has already moved and played live in Nantes, Marseille, Nancy, Strasbourg, Golbey, Lille, Clermont-Ferrand, St Etienne, etc, with various bands such as Rotting Christ, Belphegor, Pestilence, Antropofago, Cephalic Carnage, Exumed, Diluvian, Eths, Dawn Of Might, Karne, Manzer, Napalm Death, Loudblast, Feastem, Devangelic, Methnakriss, Antropofagus, Savage Annihilation, Black Bomb A, Drakwald, Kill The Client, Corpus Diavolis, Kakotanasy, Offending, Demented, Pay To Die, Whoresnation, Armageddon Death Squad, Cumbeast, Profanity, Hideous Divinity etc… Members of Nephren-Ka have a solid « live » experience and are eager to get back on stage to support their newest album.
